I’ve never been much of a “Tickled Pink” girl.
I’m more of a “Rainbow Brite” type.
But today? Pink has been a re-occuring theme. And I’m not complaining.
In fact, I’m tickled. By what?
This heavenly sight on my desk today.
My Mom has been gifting me with nectars of love for the past couple weeks. (Heaven knows I can’t afford them.)
Finding this little gem on Facebook. Sometimes you just have no words….and then suddenly you do. (thank you ecards)
By hot-pink construction equipment. Genius on so many levels. They’ll really catch your eye, huh? Not the best pic, but you get it.
And that is why I’m tickled pink.
And that was 0:45 seconds of your life you probably want back. LOL.
My point is….wait. I got nothing. How about this, find ONE thing (or person) today to be tickled by. (If you want).

PS – Though I am an ardent fan of pickles, idioms, phrases and messing around with words. I absolutely cannot say “whatever tickles your pickle” because…..*blush* i guess i have a dirty mind and it makes me feel funny.

Your mum is so sweet, they look interesting. I’ve never had kombucha, only really just heard about it through blogs so I’m not even sure what it is.
I was a girly girl too, when I wasn’t being a tomboy haha.

I’m tickled by the everyday reminders that I’m actually loved and appreciated.. I have some amazing friends and they make my world go ’round.
I’m tickled that today is a public holiday in Australia so even though my cat woke me up at 5am, I’m about to go back to bed

I love Rainbow Brite still and I don’t care who knows it. I don’t love Kombucha and, again, don’t care who hears.
I’m tickled by finishing my syllabus today, even if it took me all day yesterday and today. It’s done. That tickles my pickle. (Sorry. I had to. You understand. It makes me giggle too because my mind is right there with yours.)

I’ve never heard of any of them lil’ girls though, sigh.. Norway = backwards.
But I love the spirit of this post! If we just look a little closer at the world around us we can discover so much beauty and joy. I’m tickled by the fact that my dog has started to wake me up by jumping up in bed and sit on me untill I notice. He is a good and heavy companion.

My favourite from Rainbow Brite was ‘Shy Violet.’ In fact, I have a photograph, buried somewhere deep in an old photograph box, picturing my 1987(?) happiness with Violet. Maybe 1988. Or 1989. Regardless, this post has inspired me, and I SHALL find that photograph.
