You should watch this. (If you want). Please?
How awesome is that?
I relate to this kid. Big time.
Hip Hop moves me in many ways, depending on the track, the artist, the mood, the styling.
But one thing is for certain. I can always depend on some quality hip hop to flip my frown and find my sparkle.
Yes, I’d be “that white blonde girl” in my minivan with the fish decal on the back jamming to a song like this:
—>Click here if ya want, but be warned* <—
PS – Title of this post is a shout out to Lupe Fiasco, check this track out here <—– (if you want).
*This song is actually one of my favorites. I find the over-the-top nastiness to be hilarious for some reason (not sorry) This is quite a departure from my typical hip-hop preferences, though. In fact, I wouldn’t even call that hip-hop.

You drive a mini-van?
(Ha!)
Hip-hop does save in so many ways. Well; music for me in general.
Yes, I do.
That’s where all the magic happens.
And that is where this —-> http://missymiller.wordpress.com/2011/05/27/tgywt-cruising-edition/
went down.
My parents gave it to me. Never bought my own cars so far. I enjoy their hand me downs thankyouverymuch. They also pay my car insurance.
This makes me feel very very bad, but very blessed.
YOU.
I am continually amazed at the amazingness of your amazeballs.
Do you have the time to make a video of you lip synching to the dirty-hop?
I’m also grateful for the “hand-me-downs” I’ve been given; but I hope that you can set aside those bad feelings and just let the gratitude be the energy that pulls you towards the goodness where you benefit. Because in that benefit; that energy is spread out and felt by those that offer it to you.
Lay that “very, very bad” feeling aside, ya-hey?
And just keep nodding it out to those proper flows.
Smiles and light to you (AS ALWAYS).
Love this video! The kid is sooo cute.
I’m with you on the Hip Hop. I’m the blonde white girl blasting some *less than classy* Lil Kim in her Oldsmobile.
i was SO the Lil’ Kim girl in her 1989 dodge caravan! hahaha! your words in this post are cracking me UP!
I bet Gwennie loves Hip Hop, too!
ROTFL… and I love rocking out in the car (but no minivan, and no fish sticker, sorry).
You’re not sorry!
That baby is awesome!
Showtunes, good quality musical comedy*, certain hymns and the more cheerful part of the Springsteen oeuvre** do the same for me.
Hope you’re well.
*(Tom Lehrer, Tim Minchin, Flight of the Conchords, that sort of thing. NOT Weird Al.)
**Pretentious? Moi?
a fellow music lover!
I’m all over the map too.
PS- What’s wrong with Weird AL? LOL. JK.
this reminds me of the weight room at track practices… and driving the minivan… my mom’s minivan when I was in high school or home from college on break. what’s with hip-hop and minivans?! lol
LOL!!! let’s please start a club.
x
Needed to come back and say that though I don’t roll with the wheels, I’d so do it this way : http://youtu.be/knCj92zA0tU Maybe minus the top hat though.
