Thank Goodness Yesterday Was Thursday
Or, TGYWT! <—with necessary exclamation point.
Yup. It’s that time again.
It’s Friday.
And you know what? I feel pretty shnazzy.
Allow me to share my good mood, kind-of like in the movie “Friday”
“I know you don’t smoke weed, I know this; but I’m gonna get you high today, ’cause it’s Friday; you ain’t got no job… and you ain’t got sh*t to do.”
Except without the contraband.
Come cruise with me in my mini-van (if you want). Enjoy!
If you’re ever in South Florida I will fo-sure take you for a ride, but I’d make you eat a pickle and peabee with me first.
I’d be nice about it.
But if you resisted, I’d get tough.
Thanks so much for your all comments on my last post!
Remarkably, I feel a bit better. There is something to be said for reaching out so special thanks to
I’ve never reached out like that before and I am so amazed at how much it really helps.
- Do you sing in your car?
Of course, you know I do. All the time. I have never videoed it before, though.
- Are you barbequing this weekend?
I haven’t had any invites but you never know. I’m certainly gonna get my fair share of sunshine.
**I think my blog might have graduated to “mature” – the drug reference, curse words, and of course my bra.**

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your video brings the smiles!
As does the blog now being deemed “mature.” It’s important to give warning, right?
I do not own a car, because I do not drive, but when I travel my way on foot, on bike or in my mind, I have some very nice noise canceling earbuds that accompanying me so I am always singing along, dancing, or simply enjoying the sweet choons.
No barbeque here. Only veggies on a skewer perhaps, but probably not over an open flame next to anything animal.
Hope the goodness continues for you Missy!
Be well.
i love half sour pickles and eat them every day. yum-ola. glad to find a kindred soul
PLUS we have the same name, Melissa!
Is your middle name Ann?
I loved this post! So glad that you are feeling a bit better, your impressive lyric knowledge has put a smile on my face
I would like to know why you don’t have a ‘bra’ category in your ‘file this one under’.

I’m going to picnic on Monday and the people who are hosting it have a pond and canoes.. it should be exciting!
Hi Missy,
I just stumbled across your blog–you are absolutely adorable! I loved the video, and TGYWT.
I’m a huge car singer. Even better is when my sister and I are riding around together belting out tunes
Hope the rest of your Friday is fabulous!
Why hello!
Thank you for stumbling by (0:
Pickles? Yum! Perfect for Fridays =]
OMG PLEASE let me take a ride with you- seriously it would be THE JAM
and ill totally take u up on ur pickle pb offer- those are two of my FAVS… just not together…
I think I could deal with a bite of pickle and a peanut butter chaser.
If you could at least do that we’d have a deal.
Not a big fan of pickles, but I usually have dill on hand. Half sours are SO much better. Never tried them with pb.
Where in south fla do you live?
LOVE the vid.
I am so sorry for being absent from your blog and life, my dear Missy.
Reading your last post made my heart tighten, all I wanted was to be with you. Help you through the hard days and make you believe that you are STRONG. To admit we’re struggling is a sign of strength, not weakness. It proves that we want to change and that is an act that express greatness and courage.
We can change. On our darkest of days we still have that opportunity. Challenges is a part of human life, they are there to make us reflect upon what we want in life. Do we want recovery? Break free and live? Live the life we deserve, the one full of emotions, passion and experience. I do, and deep down I know you want too. You can do the most amazing things, Missy. Within you lies a kind, wise and strong soul. You are a survivor and fighter, don’t let ED convince you otherwise.
Thinking of you – keep on singing in your car! That is Missy rockin’, haha <3
i do sing in my car. Wish I could sing with you and eat pb and pickles.
Can we have a sing along and chillax? I’m glad you are feeling a little better at least.
I would love to sing in the car with you, we could really rock out
Yeah, I’m barbecuing this weekend. Dad’s birthday!

Your post made me smile
I got you high!
I hope you have an amazing weekend beautiful x
So lovely to hear you’ve been feeling a wee bit better and I hope you’re having a good weekend
.
I was really touched by your mention/link and I am SO glad that you have felt supported. Keep reaching out, whenever you need to…
Do I sing in my car? Possibly
I think my Facebook status Thursday was So Happy It’s Thursday–make your own acronym. It seemed like the longest week ever.
Anyway, glad you’re feeling better and were able to reach out and get such great support. Speaking of great support, you’re lucky you need to at least wear a bra. With me it’s like putting one on an ironing board.
Hahaha, your singing in the car is hilarious and so cool!
you are one of the most funny people I have ever seen! I love ya!
Hope today is a wonderful day for you
