Here are some things I’ve ate, thinks I’ve thunk, happenings that happened and random details about me. (Why the heck am I taking pictures of food and posting them on the internet? Click here <—- for the answer)
Google say huh?
If you google “pictures of pregnant 12 year olds” and page through a few pages of images; you will find a picture of a pickle and peanut butter which will lead you to my blog.
Thank-you, WordPress, for informing me of that.
Who googles that?
Wait. I did (fearing it may be a pic of me. Phew!) It got me thinking…
You can tell a lot by a person’s googlage. I wouldn’t want to be judged by mine.
Here are some of them I jotted down over a week or so. (Like you care)
Oh…and stuff I ate. (sorry)
- Mattie Stepanek (for spelling)
- How to make hospital corners
- Drawings + bacon frying in a pan (long story)
- Salvaging undercooked rice + steamer
- Totaled (spelling)
- Geniuses
- Crazy Love + Book
- Anthony Bourdain (spelling)
- Banana Pepper Hummus (yes, I went there. Fail.)
- Amaranth + Microwave Popcorn Cooker (didn’t work)
- Healing Crisis + Fasting (for a friend)
- Speedy Gonzalez + slow cousin
- prune hands after swimming + why
- Martin Luther King + Stock Market Closed (for work)
- Greek Exclamation (Opa!)
This may be the last turkey I ever eat…my sensibilities have returned. I started eating the occasional turkey after severe malnutrition. I’m in a better place nutrition wise…and kind of grossed out. I’m starting to feel like myself again! Yay!
One last Google:
- Tenth Avenue North + you are more
I googled this to hear it about a thousand times and have since purchased it after Chelsea “gifted” it to me. (Thanks Chelsea!)
I’m re-gifting: Listen!
Google anything interesting lately?
I’m a bit yucked by these Pillar Eats posts (and embarrassed). Yet, I’m on a mission. Documenting some of my eats helps my journey to gain a respect for food and a more balanced diet.

what an amazing song, I love the words! Someone once found my blog my searching “popping a squat.” Hmmmm……not sure if thats a good thing or not. haha.
Surely you had no fear of finding a picture of yourself when googling “popping a squat” hehehehe
To be perfectly honest, that song came on the radio yesterday while driving home from church. I instantly turned it up and prayed for you – no joke!
That makes my heart get all warm and fuzzy. Thanks so much <–understatement…for your prayers and all your support and for writing your blog which gives me so much pleasure every day.
I google tons of things to check the spelling:
radicchio (gotta make sure the two c’s are right)
neccessitate (two c’s and two s’s?)
supersede (is it ‘sede’ or cede’?)
Okay, that was more than enough examples! I really like that song you posted. It is pretty perfect for where I am right now. Keep on choosing a more balanced diet. You give me a lot of hope!
I love the dictionary…but for a quick spell check nothing beats “The Google.”
Thanks for the encouragement!
Thank you Missy for your encouraging comments!
I have advanced on my recovery journey, and yet it is not over. I wonder if it will ever truly be. What I mean is that I think that I’ll always have to be careful about not falling into ‘moods affecting my eating’ pattern. I hope one day to be able to see food as fuel and eat and like you said, not to think about it afterwards.
My art has helped me to gain self-esteem – and thus let myself eat more again. My worth is something else than being the skinniest in the hood. And so is yours! Let’s say ‘merde’ to AN;)
I have such a place for you in my heart! I tyhink you are the most splendiforous magical beautiful woman in “the hood”
Merd.

Yeaaah I am guilty of using google to check spelling
hehe.. no shame!!!
No shame at all!
Someone googled “naked swimming” and found my blog. I’ve never even been naked swimming! And I doubt I’ve written much about nudity on my public blog, but who knows?
So, I wonder, did you end up googling naked swimming to find out? LOL.
By the way I never talked about pregnant 12 year olds on my blog (0:
Great song!!!
Crazy about that google search-how random! I google anything…on the spot…when I don’t know the answer:)
We google because we’re smart like that. I still giggle when my Mom tells me to “look it up in the phone book”
I’m all like “Mom? What’s a phonebook?”
this makes me want a juice so bad! I haven’t seen people posting them so much anymore. yours looks so good
That was the handi-work of Whole Foods. I don’t have a juicer…and ya know what? I really don’t know if I’d use it too much after I cleaned it once! LOL.
Go get a juice!
“pregnant 12 year olds” hahaha! That’s too funny!
Your eats look so good Missy! You have a lot of variety which is awesome. You’re making me more and more interested in quinoa ; ). Also, the morningstar turkey looks yummy. My nutritionist recommended I try morningstar sausages last week. I know they’re healthy and would fit into my meal plan since she suggested them…but just the word “sausage” makes me go dslhdskjgbsk! lol. Perhaps starting with something like the turkey patties would help me work up to the sausage. Did it take you a long time to work up to eating such a variety??

Cause you know my backstory you know I have come a loooonnng way and yes it took time. However I have a ways to go. Dinner in particular. I swear I spend 1/2 a paycheck on asparagus.
Veggie burgers are awesome. MS Farms makes a Chik-n Griller that’s unbreaded and I live for it. Atually it used to be a Gardenburger product. MS Farms “took it over” when Gardenburger discontinued. They are owned by the same company.
Why do I know this? Because when I couldn’t find them anymore I special ordered them by the case and emailed the company in protest.
Why?
Cause thats. what. I. ate.
Now…I don’t freak out as much. And yes have incprporated ALL sorts of stuff in my daily bread.

Glad to hear you’re eating meat! Which is weird because I’m a vegetarian haha but its protein so thats great!
After 17 years as a vegetarian I was shocked to find myself eating turkey at the holidays (oh and fish all the time) Chicken however? no.
It felt right. I needed it…I was starving! Now that I am at a better place I’m grossed out. But I will most likely be eating fish with Jesus in heaven (0:
