Looking for something?

I like this. And I love the fact that you’ve found a way to frame it so that you’re able to wrap your mind around it.
I am SO excited for you. I can’t wait to see what you find out about yourself and God and life while you’re also finding weight.
Or achieving weight. Every lb is an achievement of different sorts: life. happiness. new energy. new fun. new activity to enjoy.
You’re amazing, girl!
I frikkin love that idea!!! Like just going back to what u were- HEALTHY xxxx
girl more like gaining HEALTH!!!! your poor body right now- your organs and your heart.. they are working SO SOOO hard.. once you gain HEALTH.. you are taking care of your insides before its too late!!!! just enjoy the ride
and remember.. ALWAYS ALWAYS depend on the Lord for strength- go to Him during those hard times during recovery! I did and thats what pulled me through!! DO NOT LISTEN to satan!
yup, its going to be the toughest hill you’ll ever climb. mentally its exhausting trying to get your health back and gain weight. just the thought of it is enough to pull you into a depression. especially when we become so good at losing the weight that its terrifying thinking of the success we’ll have with gaining weight (inset: MAJOR ANXIETY) my advice honestly is to focus on building muscle. that how i was able to put on weight and without the visual muscle weight gain i would have failed at any other ‘weight-gain’ attempt. when i build muscle i loved the new toned look and naturally ate more because more muscle = better body furnace = need more fuel. i love you and I KNOW YOU WILL BEAT THIS! <3
xoxo
I agree with KT! You will be gaining HEALTH, sweetie! You’re gonna beat this with God as your pilot. I can’t wait to see you start to thrive again and enjoy life, because that’s what gaining health will be for you, I promise. Praying for you girl! YOU CAN DO IT, not with your OWN strength, but with GOD’S!
XO.
I use that all the time and it does help. For me I think of it as REgaining. Like you said, you had it once before, you are not going past your preloss weight so it is just regaining back that weight. Piece of cake!
I like that way of looking at it too. Gaining has such a negative connotation in our society. I also like what Sophia said about viewing it as achieving weight.
Thanks everyone for your encouragement. I can’t explain hopw much it means to me.
Wow, this is exactlyyyyyyyyyy how I feel. I’m so glad you found my site. I have a feeling we’ll become good friends

Please keep me in touch!!!!
Gaining weight is hard & scary! I’ve heard a few people that blogged about this recently “what women would WANT to gain weight”..
just so people know….THERE ARE WOMEN WHO WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT!!! shock, i know… but some women think they look better with some meat on their bones. some girls WISHED they had curves, breasts, and a nice butt.
Honestly i think its only people who have ED who think that NOBODY wants to gain weight because the truth is, SOME PEOPLE DO!
Dana xoxo
That is very true!
I sometimes forget…Maybe I can “fake it” till I make it.

Hi dear – reading back through some of your posts and loved this one. Finding weight – what a powerful and positive way to think about recovery. You are wise and strong, my friend!
